Adult Financial Education Foundation and AFES are dedicated to improving the financial literacy of adult Americans 50 and over by offering courses designed to educate them on financial terms and concepts as it relates to retirement planning. Our courses focus on the fundamentals of managing money in a conservative fashion, understanding Social Security and how to maximize your benefits, and planning an income for your retirement years. There are no prerequisites to enroll for our courses. Textbook, workbook and other materials are included with your tuition as well as an optional one-hour personalized planning strategy session with the instructor. No college credit is received for completing any of our courses.
