Daryl Curtis is the principle of Daryl Curtis Wealth Builders, with securities offered through BFT Financial Group LLC.
Daryl followed his father into the financial service field in 1976, after graduation from West Texas A&M University. He received the Chartered Life Underway (CLU) professional designation from the American College in 1979, making him one of the youngest to receive that designation in Texas. In 1988, he received the Chartered Financial Consultant designation (ChFC) from the American College. He has also taught financially based courses at Amarillo College.
Daryl believes in involvement in his profession and community. He has served as President of the following organizations: Amarillo Area Insurance & Financial Advisors, Amarillo Area Society of Financial Service Professionals, West Texas A&M Alumni Association, Alpha Tau Omega Fraternity Board of Trustees (West Texas Chapter), Amarillo Family YMCA board.
Daryl also served five years as an elected alderman in the village of Timbercreek Canyon, and he is still serving there as a volunteer fireman. Daryl has three children and four grandchildren that are also in successful careers across the country.
