Laurinda worked 15 years in small business ownership and management, accounting, and tax preparation in her native home of Cleveland, Ohio. After moving to Colorado, she completed her Bachelor of Arts in Education from Regis University in 2007. Later, she was introduced to the financial service industry and became licensed with Transamerica Financial Advisors where she spent three and a half years before joining the team at Aspen Creek Wealth Strategies in 2016. By combining her education training with her business experience, Laurinda was able to effectively provide financial literacy strategies to her clients.
Recently, Laurinda was named the Director of Financial Education and along with developing educational opportunities and curriculum, she actively teaches a variety of adult financial classes in multiple venues. Her passion stems from understanding that these financial topics are so often left out of school and college curriculum and are desperately needed for building financially responsible adults. The combination of teaching and then providing outstanding financial vehicles to accomplish clients’ goals makes her dedicated to the mission.
Laurinda has four wonderful children. She enjoys supporting them in their scholastic and sports endeavors, reading, teaching, music, walking the family dogs, is active in her church and women’s ministries. She also loves every chance she gets to be outside, travel, and experience Colorado.
